Russa is in the Northern Hemisphere
as any county with all or a majority of there land North of the equator is considered northern Hemisphere
and all county's with all or a majority of there land South of the equator is considered in the Southern Hemisphere

Northern, dear. Take a look at the top of a globe, and Russia is the country that spans 8 time zones, almost half of the top of the world.
