You should start out dead and get it out of the way.
Then, you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.
You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension, then
when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.
You work 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You drink alcohol, you party, you're generally promiscuous and you get
ready for High School.
You go to primary school, you become a kid , you play, you have no
responsibilities, you become a baby, and then...
You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in
spa-like conditions; central heating, room service on tap, larger
quarters everyday, and then, you finish off as an orgasm.
I rest my case.

Dang! Too bad you weren't put in charge.

Hope you don't mind, but I emailed this to a few people, as it was too good not to share. I attributed your screen name.

I am in awe.

I think you don't know old people. The live cycle is tapered at both ends so that you go out pretty much the way you came in if you live long enough to be a burden to your children the way you were a burden to your parents. In the middle you are basically having all your struggles with others. Reversing the cycle won't make it any better. And besides they tried this with "Mork and Mindy" and while Mearth was funny coming out all drown up he was not born wise and he did not die foolish as children are known to be.

Homer on old age: 'It's like being a baby, but you're old enough to appreciate it!'

We regress back into childhood as we age, I think.

My boyfriend's nan says some things I would imagine a five-year-old saying. But she's a really lovely old lady. :)

But your philosophy sounds cool

Actually it is cyclical. Youdo almost start out dead and come out helpless. Live a while. Become helpless again. Shrivel up and die. See- cyclical.

An amusing thought but no, this cannot work. You are born and from that day forth, you live towards to the day you die. So really, we are born to die.

You are absolutely right on. From your pen to God's ear.

Very funny and well thought out.
