I want to exercise and at the same time not get over stressed or gain weight. I want something to prevent me from gaining any weight.

You can't prevent weight gain, but you can minimize it. Walking is always good and yoga can really help relax you and help you stay in shape while pregnant.

You're going to gain weight. There's no avoiding it, in pregnancy. But you CAN stay active throughout the whole 10 months...

They say that you can do anything you did before you were pregnant as long as you feel good doing it, unless you have health issues and your doctor tells you not to. The only thing you may have to curtail is the abdominal exercises as you progress, and you may need to modify some of the moves as your belly grows (some of that stuff will get really uncomfortable...). My sister did step aerobics every day when she was pregnant, right up until the morning of the day she delivered.

You should probably not start new workouts that you may not be familiar with, since you haven't done them before, there's a greater chance you are doing it wrong, and risk injury...so if you DO want to try something new, try a prenatal class where the teacher is aware of your condition, and can help you modify as necessary.

If you DO exercise throughout your pregnancy, it really helps you have an easier delivery, not to mention getting back into shape after the delivery.

Find something fun. Prenatal fitness classes are also a great way to meet new people, and right off the bat you'll have something in common...

Well, rather You want to or not, You're gonna gain weight. I've had 3 babies, & I gained. The thing is not to OVERgain. Which is the best. You don't want to gain over 40 lbs. You aren't going to be able to be in labor & deliver the baby very successfully if You gain too much.
Anyway, what I did was walk, & swim. Walking, if You can't do outside, there are great "walk indoors" videos where You can walk up to 2 miles IN Your home. Swimming, go to someone's home if You don't have a pool, & to a park or public indoor pool if that option's not open. I had ALL 3 of My kids under 2 hours & with NO pain killers. So, I know what works. At least for Me.

You need to gain some weight, but you can keep it under control by eating a healthful diet and some simple exercises. I wouldn't do anything you didn't do before. However, yoga is wonderful. It's gentle stretching and can help you in delivery. Also, it will help ease back pain and help you relax. Just be cautions of some poses that aren't good for pregnancy.

The best exercise while your pregnant is to go for long walks.
Just make sure you eat healthy and stay away from sweets. You'll do fine in not gaining weight.

You can not stop from gaining weight while you are pregnant. After all you are carrying a developing baby so at the very least you will gain the weight of the baby.
Swimming and walking are the 2 best forms of exercises when you are pregnant.

honey you are going to gain weight....welcome to pregnancy. there is no getting around it. by the end of your pregnancy, you will need to have gained 25-35 lbs, that is considered a healthy pregnancy weight gain. If you are worried about gaining more than that, walk a lot and eat healthy, try and stay away from junk food. But whatever you do don't deprive your baby.

There's tons of yoga work out videos in Barnes and Noble, Wal Mart, etc. They are low impact so you can stay in shape during pregnancy in a healthy manner. Also do a lot of walking. Good for your heart, blood and so on. And don't stress over not gaining weight. Remember you need it. Just don't over indulge with desserts and keep exercising!

Although you cannot prevent total weight gain there are things you can do to minimize it such as excersise and proper diet. Yoga and water excersise are both great. They work on strengthening your core which is a great thing for labor and delivery.
