she just rebelling. my 12 year-old sister does the same things. even the shower thing, she hates them and has to be told over and over again. i suggest threatening to take things away. nothing too serious, or else she will just want to upset you more.

Unfortunately, this is the way of todays youth. Shes bucking you for everything you tell her and the louder you yell, the worse itll get, and its probably going to get worse before it gets better, sorry. Todays youth thinks they know so much more than mom and dad, so they figure you cant tell them anything. TV has destroyed our kids as well as family morals and values, and our kids are learning such behavior from all those shows. The more she realizes that shes getting to you the more shell do it, so youll have to learn the fine art of ignoring her and calmly dealing with her when you do. It wont be easy at first but with a little patience, itll work wonders. I know this from first hand experience raising two young adult women. Good luck

sounds like she is hitting the preteens a little early, mine was the same way. I suggest contacting an adolescent psychologist as this could be a psychological problem. If you do not have health insurance (a major problem facing Americans today), contact your local county or state MHMR and/or church / synagouge. They may be able to help your daughter based on a sliding scale. I wish you the best of luck and pray for your daughter.

No there's is nothing wrong with her,she just want to see how far you're going to let this go on.EVERYDAY YOU SAY TO YOURSELF GOD YOU HELP ME BRING HER IN THIS WORLD NOW HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM.(START PRAYING) Stop yelling because all this does is get you upset, and it makes her rebel.Start showing her all the nice outfits little girls wear, and you hope one day she would want to wear something like this, not now and you understand.Ask her to do you a favor, because it looks bad on you when she doesn't take a bath. Please email I want to know how things are going godmoneybusiness@yahoo.com
