With all the relief pitchers he is using, doesn't it seem scary to chance bringing in one that is going to blow their lead?
Right now Cardinals bat with 2 out leading by two in the ninth.

I think someone should be looking for Herzog! With all the managerial firings....he would be a great choice as a replacement.
As far as relief pitchers blowing leads....that is something LaRussa must contend with, since he is the Cardinals' manager.

He could be looking for someone but being that he's been out of the league for 15 years, I would say he's probably looking for his beer & the remote so he can click over to espn for the bottom of the ninth!
