avenno oatmeal lotion works really really well. I've never tryed another lotion like it and its easy to find....walmart, rite aid etc all carry it. Also something that makes your skin really soft is Saint Ives apriocot scrub, which you use in the shower...........i always get complements on my skin due to these products and before use i had horrible dry skin. good luck

Extremely dry skin is a condition; you must apply lotion immediately after a shower/bath. Avoid hot shower/baths instead opt for lukewarm. The first application should bring immediate relief and in time silky smooth skin.
Experiment with different brands of lotion until you find what works best for you. My favorites are Nivea, Lubriderm and Vaseline Intensive Care lotions.

It is sticky at first but I swear by shea butter. It doesn't smell great so you can get a mixture of shea and something more fragrant. I buy mine from wal mart. An added bonus is that it gives your skin a lovely sheen. I apply it after I towel dry because the leftover moisture on my skin helps distribute it.

I love the essential oil of lavender. I get it from Yves Rocher (find on Internet) from Paris, but very inexpensive. Do not let the Paris part scare you. After your bath, just put on like any cream, but it does not dissipate like some creams do. Anyway, that is what I use. Then layer on Amerige perfume, and I am good to go!

I have the same issue-especially during the winter months and I mix a good lotion such as Vaseline advanced healing and Aquafor. It comes in a plastic jar and can be bought at Walmart and stores like that. I mix them together and put it all over after my shower. It really works!

My doctor told me to use aveeno and it works great. I used to have really bad dry skin and I use it everyday when I get out of the shower and it is not dry anymore.

Smear on some virgin olive oil while you are still wet from the shower. It lasts and it helps your perfume smell better longer.
