It will be about 11-14 days after your period. You may feel slight discomfort at the ovary involved, fell irritable and cranky a bit, and your vaginal mucous changes to flowing and slick. If you hold it between your two fingers, it tends to show a spider web like appearance-sticking together. This encourages the sperm to travel well. Your breasts may be tender too.

When we were trying, I used a bbt (basal body temp) thermometer. Check out this site; it tells all about how your body temp changes just before O then just after so that you can pinpoint ovulation. You have to take your temp each morning at the same time and chart it. The charting software on the site is free, and that's all you need, besides a digital bbt thermometer, which you can get at a drugstore for just a few $$.

Normally you ovulate on cycle day 14-16 but everyone is different. I don't ovulate on my own, so I get a shot of Norval (hcg) to force me to ovulate when my eggs/follicles are large enough.

You can count out the days in your cycle, or hit the pharmacy for an ovulation kit.

If you want accuracy, try either purchasing an ovulation predictor kit (you can buy them at walmart) or a Basal body thermometer and track your Basal body temperature. Please keep in mind that this is nothing like normal body temperature and it's measured every morning, vaginally.

You may have a warm pain on one side mittelschmerz. Start counting from the first day of your period. When you get to day 14 you are ovulating.

You can go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com/ and chart your periods and they will tell you when you are ovulating based on what your personal cycle is. It's free.
