i think monica is just being herself. who shes always been. but us (the public) is just now seeing this side of her. I think the media made her out to be so innocent and girly but like she said in ainterview she can be just like a guy. i like her. shes real down to earth and very family oriented. as for teh cd. I LOVE IT!

I just got Monica's New Album, "The Makings Of Me" Tuesday, September 3, the day it was released! My favorite song on the album is "A Dozen Roses."

Yes...but I guess with Queen BEYONCE on top of her reign and newcomers like Rihanna,Cassie and the "1,2 step" diva Ciara coming out with hits,you have to do a little too much to much to get noticed these days.Hey!Maybe that was her strategy!Plus I love to r-r-rock & bend my knees errrtime that beat drop!

She looks like a hov on the cover, so that's sort of a turn off. Haven't heard any of the music, though.
