His movies were fun, funny, & badass! The guy was so private too. Most don't know much about him & I don't think he ever granted interviews.

The Death Wish series are great 70/80s action viewing. Twisted one-liners & all!

Yeah, they were all formulaic, but you knew what you were getting w/ a Bronson flick. Kinda like an AC/DC album!

Bronson was one in a million. I remember Hard Times. He was a street fighter during the depression. Very authentic fighting and out of your usual Hollywood formula. He was also the mute henchman in the original House of Wax.

Bronson was actually TOUGHER in real life than in his movies.

Ex loan shark's collector and won 3 purple hearts in WWII. Youngest of 16 kids, wore a dress when he was little because his family were dirt poor Pennsylvania coal miners. Carried a knife as a 6 year old.

Helll of a man.

I was just saying the other day I would love to see "Hard Times" again

I never knew that Charls Bronson's wife was names Fonzie. Interesting.

I think he was better as a character actor than a lead actor.

think back to roles like in The Magnificent Seven or the Great Escape and his acting shown brightest.

I miss him, too. If you want to see him in his early days, try seeing Once Upon A Time in the West... Mr. Harmonica can play quite a tune.
