I was just finish working when I got hit by a mannequin's hands on my way to go home. It was a little bit painful. I was just wondering if that is just okay. Will it affect my baby?

Please reply. Thanks.

Thanks to those people who spent time answering my question. It really did help.

It wasn't hit that hard. I was hit on the right side of my belly. I just felt a little pain that was why I panicked. Nevertheless, I haven't had any swelling or anything until now. I did not know where to find answers because the search sites wasn't giving me the right answer. That is why I decided to post a question here.

Again, Thank you very much guys! ^_^

It should be okay, a baby is pretty well protected. Just mention it to your doctor on your next visit if you are still concerned

It all depends on how hard you was hit. I use to unload trucks and I did that until I was eight months pregnant. I stop because I did get hit with a few boxes as it was going down the line. I was hurt for maybe couple of hours but the next day I went to the doctors and they said I was OK.So you will be fine but it won't hurt to go to the doctor and get a second opinion.

should be okay especially if you under 6 or 7 months if you are HEAVY pregnant I'd call the doctor. Early in pregnancy the baby is deep in the body and very protected later a hard hit or getting jarred could cause a placenta issue or even break your water it has to be a MAJOR HIT or a horrible car crash to cause issues. with this baby when i was 5.5 months my 49 pound 8 year old jumped on me on the couch RIGHT ON MY BELLY the baby is perfectally fine it did hurt.

Your dogs can not jerk you that complicated. babies are ok secure in there. in spite of in case you fall, they're frequently ok. it is nice, because of the fact we tend to get quite clumsy as quickly as we are pregnant. The workout for the period of being pregnant is super and it will help in protecting your domestic dog busy and drained. If he has a tendency to tug plenty, you're able to take him to an obedience type or use a Halti or delicate chief. people can not stand up to giving pregnant women people all kinds of astounding warnings. during pregnancy with my first, a coworker chewed me out because of the fact I stretched with my hands above my head. She suggested that could wrap the umbilical cord around the infant's neck and strangle it. The previous different halves' memories flow from the basically approximately smart to the ridiculous.

I would say no. If you hit it hard enough, you'd be having signs of miscarriage or labor before you had a chance to get to your computer to ask this question. It's not like you were punched in the stomach, which would require a much greater force.

Baby has quite a bit of fluid in there, to cushion. If you're having signs of miscarriage or early labor, then call your OB. But my guess is that you'll really be fine.

Not likely. Those little stinkers are quite secure in their little habitat. If you are still have cramp like pains, then you might want to call your Dr. I fell in the shower when I was pregnant with my first one and everything was fine. My hubby and mother were encouraging me to go the doctor, even though I wasn't hurting, so I ended up going. The doctor checked me out and everything was fine, so I only ended up feeling embarrassed that I'd wasted the doc's time.

it's fine yes. The baby is very well protected by the water in the womb, and don't forget the uterus itself is a muscle.

to be dangerous for a baby she carries, a shock must be strong enough to be dangerous for the mother (pregnant or not), and it must happen towards the end of pregnancy when the baby is bigger i.e. heavier and has less water around it.

so don't worry - but that shouldn't prevent you from being careful of course!

good luck

How many months pregnant are you? If your 3 months or more the baby is very well protected in the amniotic fluid and you would have to suffer a very severe blow to worry about the baby but if your worried just go to your doctor.

That baby is VERY well protected. Little bumps won't hurt it at. I got elbowed in the baby at the movies the other day. I was more mad than hurt. The girl was really nasty about it, then turned around and saw what she had elbowed. Was pretty apologetic after that. Don't worry!

Sabrina, Sabrina, Sabrina... youre' baby will be A-OK. Don't worry about that. Of course it was painfull. But, remember, the baby isn't on you're skin. It is like in the middle. So, I hope this answers your question.
