I don't believe it goes fast enough to require that stupid looking spoiler.

I don't think there is a governor on the standard Crossfires, however the SRT version is very limited. Sory I dont have any numbers for you.
As for the spoiler, it applies around 40 lbs of down-force at 80 mph. That doesnt sound like a lot, but it actually helps the stability of the car a tremendous amount. It helps the car to handle extremly well at high speeds.

Test drive on speed channel with host Tommy Kendall test drove a crossfire at a top speed of 153mph.Not the SRT and not a conv.
