How do you cut ties on the sides of your shirt?

At school there's a lot of girls who take t-shirts that are too big for them and cut them on the sides then tie them. how do you do that?

Cut the shirt up to the arms at the seams on both sides.
Then lay it flat and cut the sides about 1 inch in, 1/2 inch apart.
Then tie the pairs of strips together.

It's kind of hard to explain on here.

Ok cut the side where the seam is on each side of the shirt cut it up to where you want it end then cut slits into the 4 sides then tie together

well...you cut the sides of the tshirt so that you have two halves that are connected by the neck and sleeves. then you cut a lot of slits on the sides, and tie them together.

Cute if you do it right... and wear a shirt under it. A lot of girls at my school wear those shirts only on school spirit day because they make them themselves. I don't know how though, so... there's just my opinion on it. :)
