Hi, Josh,
It is very sad.... ;//
Injustice is the cause of conflict....
Greed, power, arrogance and pride lead to injustice....
We need to subtract from "self", but instead we add to it
and the result is conflict....
>>>>>
We need to be "selfless" instead of "selfish"....
What makes things worse is society is no longer able to
empathize with humanity's pain. In its quest to "own"
the world, dignity and respect have been forgotten...
>>>>>
Truly, our human nature is good.. but very misguided...
>>>>>
"Greed" rises from wrong ideas of satisfaction....
The fire of greed consumes those.. who have lost their "true" minds....
>>>>>
I think, if "every single one of us".. "do" something, instead of leave it all to theory..something might change...in the near future.....one must be optimistic....
>>>>>
Thanks, for the question!;)
My regards!

The truly sad part of what you say is a direct result of a county's government. If their government had the best interest of it's people at heart, instead of their own power and greed, so much of what you say would go away.
That is the truely sad thing.
We moan and groan about our government in the United States but for the most part it makes possible all the things we take for granted. Is it free? No of course not. Tax is everywhere but without that the entire infrastructure of this country would not exist. And along with that goes everything else.

It's sad that they have to live like that but I'm not going to let it make me feel bad about how I live. I got lucky, I was born in the U.S.A. Our country, and lots of other countries, are doing a lot to help out those struggling nations. All we can do is try, but they have to help themselves too which unfortunately most of them are not doing.
Don't take that to mean I'm cynical. I joined the Army to help people and make a difference in the world, and I am. I was deployed to Pakistan in response to the earthquakes and we helped so many people.

Of course it's sad when people suffer. I don't believe that we should by any means stop doing what makes us successful and happy, like surfing the net and eating full meals and -- for some people -- going to Starbucks, but it would be wonderful if more people with and without companies funneled more of their resources into researching AIDS or purifying third world water.

ummm, i don't think that a computer, Chanel or Prada are going to stop any wars, cure AIDS, or prevent people from dying. Those places are labled "third world nations" for a reason. Hence immigration. What's sad is those people come over here (or stay over there) and take our jobs.

It's going to happen. And sadly, we can't do much to help. Their economy over there...is their economy. If we start to try and mess with them and help them to any extremes, it'd completely screw up their country. The ones that need help find ways: Some even move to the US.
But yes, it's sad, but it's something that can not be helped. There's people living the same standard of living even here in our OWN country, and we aren't helping them either.

Yes, I do think it's sad. Many people say that they are their own community, and they should take care of themselves. I feel the whole world should have equal rights, so that the world will run more smoothly. The world should work as one, not segregated. There should be no single superpower.

Well, I think that people in Africa really just need to... move. America or some other country should take a few planes, round them all up, teach them English, and send them to their country. Maybe even just build society there.

well some of us actually help support those people, why don't you try it?? You could give up a few coffee's and bring them a whole lot of some of those things they don't have. 'Feed the Children' is one of them 'Voice of the Martyrs', there are even a lot of local charities that you could give to, and help people where you live that are less fortunate than you, volunteer at a local shelter even. God Bless!!

I know that birth is purely Karmic.( on account of your good or bad actions of the past.) So those who have done good get born in good places and enjoy all good things. Those with more debit get born in difficult circumstances. Those who are with negative balance get born in extreme backward countries and so on. human life time is very short compared to time scale. so the cycles change with each birth. No one can exchange his Karmic destiny with another person.
