Umm..there is this guy and I think I like him and he likes me and wants to go out but like I am afraid to because I don't want to loose our friendship if things don't work out and like I don't know how I will tell my mom that I have a boyfriend. What do i do? Oh and all my friends tell me I should, does that mean anything?

First of all, you have to decide yourself whether or not you like him enough to go out with him. He's not going out with your friends!

Second, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe it won't work out, but on the other hand it might be great. If you're really true friends, even if you decide not to be bf/gf, you'll stay friends though there might be an uncomfortable period for a while

Third, you didn't say how old you are, or whether your parents have said you can date. If they haven't said you can't then just come right out and tell your mom. Most mom's are pretty understanding about things ( they've had boyfriends too) and will be glad that you are sharing things about your life with them.

You did not say how old, you are, may be it is time you and your mom had that talk. Don"t jump to have a boyfriend so quick, be friends first, so you can get to know him, and learn his ways, and see, if he is really the type of person you want to be in love with!Don"t worry what your friends say, you just try and do the right thing!

well i would find out for sure if he liked me first that way you wont reuin a friendship right off the bat. then ask him to hang out with a group of friends. then you can show you have intrest in him. if you go out and things dont work at least you had a good time while it lasted. your friends just want to see what happens and live vicariouly through you. with your mom make sure tis alright first or be prepared to lie alot.

Well becareful. I had a guy friend for 3 years. He asked me out and i didnt want to. My girl-friend wanted me to that way she can go on a date with his friend. So i went for it. But it all turned out the wrong. Now its been 7 years and we still dont talk. I see him at my friends house and we just look at each other. I regret it. I wish I can turn it all around cause he was my best friend.

Just do whatever u think iz right if u really like him go out wit him and if it does effect ur relationship as friends if u ever break up dat meanz dat itz better if ur not friends because it shouldn't effect ur friendship. It wont only if he really cares about u.=D

Well... Just make it clear it's not a date. Let all people involved know you and him are just hanging out. Don't stress over it. You'll be fine. Just say you want to hang out somewhere for a while. It's all you gotta do. Can ya dig it?

If he is a true friend and it doesnt work out your relationship as friends will remain as long as you two dont hurt eachother. Never listen to friends advise. Trust me. Do what makes you happy.

Don't let your friends make your decision for you. If you really like the guy then maybe you should give it a try. Good luck.
