Well, it depends on what you like to read.
I personally found it a little dull and boring, but many others disagree because the story teaches a good lesson about knowledge and leaves discussion on how society should function.
Really quick summary: People live in the future where books are burned to prevent individual thought.

Ray Bradbury's book, Fahrenheit 451 was an excellent book... along the lines of 1984, it had to do with a future society which frowned on individual thought, as it was believed to lead to unhappiness, which led to war, and so forth..
Read and enjoy... it also has to do with one man's discovery that the 'truth' is not always the truth..

I think it was a good novel, yes. It was one of the few i actually enjoyed reading in high school. 1984 by George Orwell is also good.

I think it is a very powerful book that is based on censorship. It may feel a little cheesy, but it was written some time ago. I enjoy it every time I read it.

excellent but it made me have an ever lasting bad feeling about damaging books as they are so important - sad really - cos some books are only worth being used as loo roll but i dont think i could do it
