On Christmas morning i like to fill up on ' Arret ' tablets before I begin eating. Ultimately there's no turning back the tide, but it should mean that you can hold out til boxing day

I do the same thing at thanksgiving. Either you learn to pace yourself by eating a little bit like every hour (instead of everything all at once), or just get the runs like you always do.

Eat less. Watch what you are eating. We tend to eat a lot of treats (junk) during the holidays. So, limit your holiday snacks and try to eat more fruits and vegetables. That will keep you "regular." Also, try some fiber tablets. (That bulks up the stools).
