Career mom- (I have one)- I learned to be independent. I learned to have my own checking account. I learned to drive from my mom.
Disadvantages- She worked late a lot because she was a manager. She was really tired a lot.

My opinion is that there should be NO working moms. Two things have changed the young people in this country for the worse. The majority of kids have no respect for their elders or anyone else. They have no work values, responsibilities or goals.
Number one thing is working moms. It's not their fault they had to go to work to help support their families..it's the government.
The government has made it almost impossible to make ends meet with just one parent working, therefore less time is devoted to bringing up the kids with proper values. The second thing is taking the right of a parent, or a teacher, to spank the children when they deserve it. The children do what they want, not what they should be doing.

I think that they both suck. I want to be a stay at home mom when I have kids because there isn't another job in the world that has as great rewards yet most responsibility.
