a blue lady fairy makes pinnochio come alive. Some little robot
boy in the near future named David , hears about her and decides
to find her. He finds her under the water at coney island in a
future world , date and time . He asks this blue lady to make him
also come alive. She gets him all excited and what really comes
alive is up for debate. He gets to see his human mother one more
time and then they all fall asleep and sleep for eternity.

Absolutely right, The blue fairy (played by Merryl Streep in Spielberg's "A. I." ) is the mythical woman who can provide Geppeto with a son and Pinnochio can become a real boy. But only after they both prove their love, devotion and worthiness.
