Looks like you have activated the 'invisable to all' button on your Yahoo systme, check your setting and activate visable to all.

I am assumming you are using the Yahoo! Messenger. Now, on the one side of this issue, you appearing off line to all your friends, there is an option for Yahoo! Messenger to always sign you in as off line. Go and click on Messenger-Preferences-Privacy. On the page you can de-select the choice to always appear off line to others. Now, under that selection is also an option to show others on whatever site you are on in the Yahoo! Community that you are off or on line all the time. So, if you log into a chat room or here, you can appear off or on line as you please. If you want others to see you are online, then make sure that box is selected and not selected if the opposite is true.

If this does not fix your problem you should try removing this version and downloading and installng a different Instance of the Messenger. Sometimes a file will become currupt and this will interfer with how Messenger works. By removing the currupt Instance and installing a new Instance many common problems can be fixed.

If this does not fix your problem you will need to contact Customer Care. You do so by going to the help page and putting in a question, the question does not matter. Click Ask and a page of possible answers will appear. Click on any of them and then at the bottom of the page you are asked if this answered your question. Click No and a page to e-mail customer Care will appear. Fill out as instructed and click send. An answer should arrive in your e-mail box within a day or two.

Good luck and I hope you get this fixed easily

Is everyone using the same Messenger service? I know that the latest versions of MSN Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger, reputedly, allow you to see (and speak) with other Messenger services, but I've yet to see that come to fruition. When I use Yahoo! Messenger, I'm not able to see friends and relatives using MSN Messenger, even when I KNOW that they're online.

As has already been stated, you may well have triggered your 'Invisible to everyone' tab in Yahoo! Messenger. Check when you next sign in.
