My computer has a virus on it when I start up the computer it turns itself right back off.It always says your computer wasn't shut down properly what can I do please?

I don't think it's a virus. It's most likely a hardware problem.

Try going into safe mode. If safe mode doesn't work either, then yeah, it's most likely a hardware problem.

If you can, back up your important files, Make sure you have an Operating system CD and resources CD. Boot your computer from the cd ( You might have to change the boot sequence in the BIOS) reinstall the OS, select quick format to format the drive and install the OS, install the drives back and that should do it. You might want to purchase an antivirus software or download AVG free edition.
