Because once you women find out a guy is married it is like a shark to blood... you relentlessly pursue us, making oral innuendos and always telling us how good you are in the sack... day after day. night after night... eventually we begin to get a chink in our armor... then when you see this happen you start showing us b00bs and flashing that look that says, " I can kill you and you will love me for it" and then we cave a little more... then you throw the last straw at us with the famous statement.. "You know she is a prude, let me show you what a real woman is like..." and we fight it but eventually we must give in.. So you see it is not that guys are cheaters at all. It is that women hunt us down like horny little vixens and strap us to the hood of their truck... ALAS!!! What is a fella to do??????

I don't believe in the philosophy. All these people can not honestly say that if "someone" cheats they will absolutely do it again and again. Some will, yes. But some don't. Sometimes it just take the one time to have them wake up and think "is this what I want to do". I have a friend (seriously it is a friend not me) that cheated just one time and that was it. It was over. It was with just one person. Ans it is not just men doing the cheating. So no, to answer you question. Once a cheater always a cheater. Sam

Men cheat because they always want what they cant or supposedly cant have, so its like a conquest or challenge, right or wrong, they seek out on a mission to conquer. An affair is exciting like the thrill of a kill after a long hunt. Chances are men will cheat again after doing it once, like they want to see how much they can get away with before getting caught. Now there are always exceptions to everything so alot of men dont repeat a mistake. Its always important to remember; its not having what you want, but wanting what you have. Once caught most men are really sorry and wish they hadnt done it in the first place and is the biggest cause of divorce in the US, if not the world. But us men are simple creatures who have a brain but in most instances dont use them before we do something. By the way, women do it too but its harder to catch them because theyre smarter than us and are more conniving too and dont brag about the kill like men. Same guilt trip though

Men always cheat!! Especially on you being the other woman. He will do it again on you since that is how you started your relationship. Why should you expect any different. Men are genetically inclined to cheat anyway and most do it. It has nothing to do with the woman. I would guess that he got caught by his wife, she dumped him and then he went to you. If she had not have dumped he would still be with her.

Gosh I hope not... this can actually go both ways.. My wife cheated on me (I was not fulfilling her emotional needs). I am working on rebuilding my marriage with her. I hope she can keep from donig it again. If she cheats again, will I give up on the relationship? I don't know. Maybe.
I would not be quick to get back into the relationship and pretend nothing happened. FInd out why he cheated. If it was a physical thing, he would probably do it again. If it was an emotional thing, then working on fulfilling his emotional needs will help prevent it.
"Surviving an Affair" by Harley is a good start to figure it out.

Its all about circumstances I believe
A guy only goes looking for greener pastures if the grass is greener ... His past marriage may have been flawed and I'm not to suggest why he turned to you for affection and compassion you must have the qualities that he finds important in his life
Just because he couldn't keep monogamous to his wife doesn't mean you cant fulfill his needs and desires . Keep him happy and he will play at home (Kind of like a kid isn't it lol)

I think cheating is something that a person is either open to or not. My experience with people is.......they dont just cheat once. Sorry.

Why do women always ask this question? Why Don't you ask this question of women? They cheat as much or more then men. The only difference they almost never git caught.

I think someone could change if they really want to. Unless the person loves you and will do anything for, consider them a potentioal cheater -MAN OR WOMAN-. Ask yourself if your ready to deal with a cheater before getting into a relationship. Hope this helps even a little.
