i can't believe how many people will answer your question with "i don't know" it makes me wonder, are they really that stupid or are they just trying to get points? or when they will talk about something totally off topic of what you asked. does this bother anyone else?

I hated it when somebody got 10 points that didn't deserve it because I didn't vote for a Best Answer. I don't let that happen anymore. As to the rest of it, that's the "nature of the beast". I also hate when people read things in to my comments that are NOT there - when they ASSUME what I am thinking instead of asking me what I actually AM thinking. What bothers me the most is when they say something insanely stupid and think they are clever, but as this forum is open to just about anybody, that's life.

they do it for the points!! and some people ask a question that can be answered with a yes or no like Do you know a certain person? but yes i do hate when they answer with an i don't know or here is a link...some times i ask a question thta i know the answer i just want to see if any one else knows...have a nice day!!

They are just trying to get points. I hate it when people ask an
open question like, "Who else likes the show "Lost"? There are
a lot of dumb questions. If someone answers my question bad

Some questions are not worth a serious answer! Sometimes it is obvious that the asker is just being flippant and looking for amusing answers, but then people try to give a serious answer, which is also annoying.

I don't know that you should be interacting with others, even on line, if this bothers you that much! Of course alot of people are on here just for points. Some people just like to see there real or imagined profundities on line...kinda like people that talk just to hear themselves talk...know what I mean?

Not really, cause they ARE answering. If they don't know, they don't know! It's as simple as that. When people read the question it's directed to anyone personally.

i think they do it for the points .yes it bothers me alot and thna they say mean rude tihgns to you hwen your just looking for more help on the problem you have and if you dont use the spell checking or periods or grammer.

heck no, just think of all the effort it took them to think for a second and then type i don't know. i mean at least they were honest enough to admit they didn't know. the ones i hate are those that just say 2 or thanks for the points.
