The color pink is associated with Venus & Aphrodite. I would go with gold or silver shimmery makeup (depending on your skin tone), perhaps including a frosty lipstick in either of those colors or whichever shade of pink looks best on you. Make yourself look very ethereal and what you would envision her to look like.

If you want to go for the mysterious Greek/Roman goddess look go for some white as in chalk white. Pale skin was in in ancient days because the wealthy would stay indoors. Having tanned skin meant you were a worker. So naturally pale skin was seen as a sign of beauty. You'd also want bright red lipstick and long, long, long hair preferably black or brown (redhair was seen as unlucky in ancient times so redheads were generally prostitutes or servants unless they were in Egypt then they were burned alive if the crops were bad) or blonde
Silver and gold glitter maybe along the cheeks and shoulders if you're wearing a toga. Historical accuracy leans here because Venus has always been depicted nude in every sculpture and painting of her may not want to go that route.
Venus was the goddess of love, lust, beauty and feminine sexuality so your make up must reflect that in a way. Lots of colored ribbons perhaps maybe some red.

Ooh that costume sounds so cool. I'd wear heavy gold eyeshadow, with thick fake eyelashes and lots of black mascara. Wear clear or very sheer lipgloss and light pink blush.

i would go with a color called...urban cowboy rides again by urban decay...something light brown or beige. go for the more natural look. little or light eye liner and as far as lips i would go with the same or even just a lightly tinted gloss

I like the idea of gold or sliver glittery eyeshadows or something, (don't go overboard!)
and line your eyes well, so that they look really pretty and bold.

you should have gold/bronze eyeshadow, and a natural color lipstick (browns, bieges, light pinks), and maybe a little pink blush, or sparkly blush
