It's clear that baby boomers got the best deal. Poverty in American reached a low point in 1973 and has been climbing ever since.
This helped make them the most comfortable generation. Nothing spawns selfishness and complacency like comfort.
I wish this weren't true because I am a child of baby boomers so things just keep getting worse the older I get.

NONE EVER
You must be talking about their OR your private lives.
The time from colonization to the 20's we were isolationists.
From then until tomorrow America has been the most generous and compassionate nation on this earth.
No disaster has occurred with out America being there with food medicine and supplies to help ease the suffering.
The air lifts of food in the 20's to Europe to last year in Indonesia tsunami and Pakistani earthquakes.

Well, right now, I would have to say this generation.
But, it may not be all the fault of the people. It is the fast paced world we live.....it is brutal. Everyone has to fight for their peice of the pie. All we hear is either Sell, Sell...or Buy, Buy....Self, Self.
I think a little highclass brainwashing has occurred not only from the government but from the corporate world.
Socially....humans have grown into something dangerious and potentially volatile.

Colorado is evidently an idiot, since there have been liberals and conservatives throughout history.
IN America, I would have to say the generation that came to the fore in the 1980s (known as the Me Generation). What a pack of profiteering, self-centered, consumerist, greed-driven worthless navel staring *******. They just about ruined the Earth and handed the nation over to the fascist neocon conspiracy.
Oh, did I say that out loud. I meant to say:
"Heil Bush."
Cheers.

Generation X'ers.
I am one, but people say that they think the world owes them something and they think they don't have to work for it.
Especially the ones who just get out of college and think they can walk in a place someone has worked at for several years and then tell them how to do things.

Yeah, I mean, baby boomers had it made...and maybe they're offspring are even MORE detached from reality and therefore perhaps more self-focused. I don't know who would win the award here, those who run the moneyed-institutions of America, or their inheritors, who will likely put in a 10th of the effort and enjoy 10x the fruit of their fathers' labor.

The current supporters of the Republican Party. Anytime you have a political party that prides itself on war, bully tactics, and think they know it all, it makes Americans want to hate them even more.
