Today, in the mail, I received three notices from the Harris County toll division. I had a total of 9 toll violations. I am from the state of georgia, and I was in Houston to visit a friend. I am not familiar with the rules and regulations of Texas. Moreover, I did not see a toll booth. And did not notice the EZ tag system. If there was a toll booth, I would have loved to pay Harris County for their ridiciulus infrasturcture. But I am outraged at their lousy system of collecting money from an innocent citizen

Dude, You did not see that 1/3rd of the flowing traffic was stopping at huge structures with signs that read TOLL $1.25. Three lanes for exact change, three lanes for cash, and 2 lanes for EZ tag. You obviously did not see it 9 times. If our system is lousy then there are 4 million idiots in Houston. YOU ARE A WHINER!! Catch up with a real city chump.

heh the system is awesome, you would have to be really dumb not to notice the huge easy tag only signs when you get on the westpark tollway. Other than that there are toll booths on everything, except for the easy tag lane. You have to be a real idiot to get one by accident.

This one: "Question: Creationists: If you had a correct understanding of the sciences of origins would you still be creationists? Question Details: The argument i often hear from creationists is either "i don't know how it happened, therefore god did it" or more often "i have a total misunderstanding of the science so i will use that to claim that god did it." It pains me further to find out that the latter sort tend to blow off any attempt to better their education in this area. This becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, "i don't understand the science, therefore god did it, and i like the god did it idea, so i choose to ignore your reality and substitute my own." Having an bass-ackwards idea of what science is doesn't give one license to poo all over it. In fact, people like myself, and the scientific community at large would have more respect for your views if you could at least demonstrate a knowledge of that which you are attempting to refute. Are you you interested in finding THE truth? or YOUR truth? Deleted Answer: Come on, pal, they can't answer a question like that honestly. Give the poor schmucks a break!" I still don't know why my answer was deleted, when it was nowhere near as rude as (a) the question itself, or (b) other answers to the same question.

That's Houston for you. Some of our roads are Tollways and some you have to have an EZ tag to get on. It can all be very confusing for a visitor.

You went through EZ tag guy! Cameras don't lie. And if you don't pay, they can deny your driver license renewal until you pay up!

No, honestly, I never have. I live in Deer Park, but I've never used the toll road.
