not the work type S.U.V, but the wealthy types that could care less how much gas is for the young parents who can't afford high gas prices. You know who They are. The type that takes no responsibility for the war but drives the Hummer and other big S.U.v.s- Can you Say"Selfish generation of American's"

Well I'm in the military and I have a big SUV so what does that make me? I don't have a huge family but I use it for moving them around and for towing my trailer of ATV's.

I must be part of the "selfish generation".

By the way... What branch of the military are you in?

Also, what does the gas prices have to do with anything? If you can't afford a big SUV then consider something sensible that fits your needs. Where are you on mini-vans? Those things are nearly as big and don't get that much better gas mileage.

Are you going to tell me how to spend my money? I don't think so...

I fail to see a corelation here. How does my Hummer cause a poor person to not have money for gas. Your argument is spurious at best. Are you seriously suggesting I drive a different vehicle to make the poor feel better? Like that will happen. If they can't afford gas, sell the car and take the bus.

I'm not entirely sure what a vehicle has to do with the war, but seriously, if someone can afford a vehicle such as mentioned and the gas needed to operate it, well, then it's going to happen. It might not be practical or considerate in terms of space and emissions, but these are not the underlying principles of our economy. If someone is made to feel bad because they can't afford this type of vehicle or the fuel, they are allowed that, but it is not the fault of the person who can afford the vehicle.

What did large families do BEFORE that lousy SUV came along? Didn't they manage with
a Station Wagon or Estate Wagon? The SUV's are a menace on the Highways.

it just seems that way - because they are yelling from a big tank - they are all over the place in sports cars and everything else. I dont think the tanks have more aggressors than any other vehicle.
