There are three ways to deal with this: the subtle way, the direct way, and the downright nasty way. Looks like you have to choose Door#3. You can threaten them with phone harassment charges, you can keep calling them back over and over late at night, or you can do what I do: pick up the phone, set it down, then go watch TV for a couple of hours. Eventually, even with people who have an IQ similar to that of a cabbage, your message will be loud and clear.

Changing your number is not very convenient to all your other friends and caller id is only good if they call from a number you know they call from. A phone booth gets around that option. All you can really do is hang up right away when you realize it is the bothersome caller.

You have several options. You can tell them that if they call you again you will report them as harassing you on the phone, that is a crime. Or, you could change your number, get caller id and when they call don't answer. I think I would tell them that telephone harrassment is a crime, don't call again if you don't want to be reported.

I just hang up on them, or tell them to stop calling (to their face, most ignorant people dont understand what that means over the phone) It sounds mean, but i cant stand to have people call me over and over again. especially if i dont like them. And if your not that kinda guy, then get caller Id, It works wonders. good luck..

This happened to me to, I think that the drug and medication mix messed up her head, she kept calling me and I had to tell her so many times stop calling me and she just wouldn't and she would alwyas yell and cuss at me about nonsense. Anyhow, this went on for a few months of her calling me and emailing me and i told her y do u keep bothering me move on with your life cuz u obvioulsly dont like me so just move on, she just wouldn't ugh,. u have no idea how psycho this freak was, she called me and says she want to talk to my mom, w're not even kids, i'm 20 and she's like 24, what the hell. so then my mom alreayd knew about all this and she told her ok no more from u and no more from him and yada yada and then it all stopped. one of the most retarded things about this is she call me so many times and yell and scream about i dunno what and hang up and i told her u keep calling and yelling etc and she says to me she only did it once. good luck, i try to b careful with and not hang around nut cases anymore, i've had a few like this but not as extreme

Registered your number with the federal government NOT FOR CALL.Or you can block that particular number by informing your service provider or use a anonymous call rejection program, any one who calls you , the service provider will ask for your permission to be connected or not to connect.

Keep a whistle by your phone, any time someone calls that you don't want to call back, blow the whistle in thier ear, they'll never dial your number again.
