What I do is wash the shirts that go with the suit and when they dry put the suit in the drier with it. It'll help the suit dewrinkle with the 'steam' created from the shirts, but not enough water in the dryer to damage the suit. It also helps if you have wet fabric softener sheets in the drier. Make sure you take it out of the drier before the drier cools down to elliminate most of the wrinkles.
Happy Laundering!

No, colors may not hold, material may be damaged, and the sizing may ruin, They have some home dry clean materials to use in the dryer that work (so so)
If he needs it tonight and you can't dry clean buy a new one,
( and don't store a suit that is smelly and wrinkly, dry clean it before you put it away)

Unless you want to go out and buy a new suit don't even try. Dryel actually does wonders - it may not remove all the wrinkles but the smell should be gone. that's better than nothing. You can then try ironing it on a very low heat setting.

Do not wash your hubby`s suit. You can get those dry cleans for your dryer but other then that you must send his suit ti the dry cleaners. He would sure look silly if they suit pants shrunk and the pants would be up to his knees don`t do it...Listen if you want to give the suit a good smell then spray his suit with freebreeze and you could take a slightly damp cloth and iron his suit....Good Luck to you!

Well, yes, checking the tags would be your best first step. If there are no washing instructions, contact the manufacturer for suggestions. Many fireproofing agents are water soluble, so don't just press on with washing, or you may impair the suit's function.

Dry clean only means dry clean only. If you wash it in a regular washer, the wool will shrink and pull the seams will bunch up. It will be wrinkly and to small. Why do you wait until the last minute to have a clean suit?

no it must be dry cleaned. but they make a packet that you can buy and you put in the dry cleaning and put it in the dryer and it is sapose to work the same way dry cleaning does.

washing it would ruin it.
many times a damp rag can take spots out, Febreeze claims to remove smells, hang it in the bathroom while you take a shower, the steam may take some of the wrinkles out.
