Which is worse; Foley's actions, or the House Leadership's cover-up?

The cover-up is way worse. Foley was not having sex with little children (as far as we know). He was sending sexually explicit emails to teenagers. I don't mean to defend Foley, but the teenagers will get over it. By covering them up, the House leadership allowed the Foley's actions to be repeated. Who knows how far his this could have escalated if the cover-up had continued?

The savaging of American democracy by the Neo-Conservatives in the Republican party is the worse crime ever in US history. The brainwashing of a large number of the American population into addled donkey butts, many of whom generate slime on this website to blame others for the Foley debacle and everything else, is the other crime. Good Republicans are expressing outraged by this mess, but the Neocon Yahoo Answerers are as evil-minded as ever.

Foley's actions because the youngsters will carry that terrible stuff for the rest of their lives. The cover-up people just lose their job. They will become lobbyists and make even more money

the house leadership cover up--this truly shows us how congress feels towards the protection of our children and the laws that are supposed to be enforced on predators /pedophiles. he basically was patted on the back ,not slapped on the wrist. it makes you wonder how many more in congress are doing this and others know and aren't saying any thing just to keep their job/position...its sad. they don't give a damn about our kids anymore just the money and the high positions.
