I'm from america and i quite like the band the kooks even though very few people know who they are here... and i know they're are supposed to be pretty popular in the UK and i just want to know how they are perceived there..like, do people considered them a sort of joke or do people really like them? or..just whatever.
it's kinda a weird question, i know. but i'm just curious if many people actually like them in england.
please only answers from people who are actually living in the uk or england.

i dont think i know anyone who classes the kooks as a joke. serious band with some really good songs is how me and most of my friends see them

I've heard them a few times, just another run of the mill band.
Nothing special.
