The beginning in the world starts with trust. Trust your mother. Trust her when she says 'this is your father'. The rest of the life goes on with trust. Bitter experiences should not be a set back. That makes life simpler to live.

If I known them for a while, I will possibly trust them. If they don't lie to me all the time and tell the truth, I will trust them also. And plus, if they are a older than the age of 10, I will trust them a little better than a child under 10. I trust my family because they are my family and for 10 years, I've been knowning them. (I'm 14, and I'm adopted so I've only been with them for a decade) and I trust my friend down the street...kind of. I trust my close friends also.

Can you ever really know something? I mean most of our information is given to us by other people. What if other people are not real? Just like you have to eliminate the improbable cases with all knowledge you can do so to trust some one.
Who wouldn't trust thier mother?

no. but in order to accept this, and for the matter any answer to the subject at hand, you would have to trust that the responders know what they are talknig about. there are different types of trust. if you completely trust someone, then do you trust yourself? can you ever really trust yourself, especially if you trust nothing or no one?

Hmm...truly, yes you can. It's a silly thing to do, but you *can* trust someone truly to the point of giving your life to another. Such as in a hospital. If you undergo surgery, you're putting the utmost trust in the doctor who's performing the surgery.

But as for regular people, most people only trust one or two people *truly* in their life, total.

Hi Kimberly!

I think it's very hard to really trust someone but it depends on who that person is. You can always trust yourself though!!!

Thanks!

An isolated & helpless young girl is perfectly safe from insult by a Frenchman, if he is dead.

Perhaps the French say the same about us!

Yes, so long as you realize and aceept the fact that it is human nature to be unpredictable. Once you get over that hurdle you can trust completely. ;)

I trust people who I can start developing a relationship with. So, it does take time.
