Yes there are many in fact. There is a good article you should read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_animals

Yes, there are many homosexual animals. The natural museum of Oslo (Norway) are opening an exhibition about 1500 known homosexual species on the 13th of October. I can only find an article in Danish on it (the first link below). Very controversial! But is has been documented in species such as beetles, sheep, fruit bats, dolphins, western gulls and orangutans (see the second and third link below).
And there is examples of both gay and lesbian behavior in nature (see the fourth link).

The only animals that I know of that have homosexual tendencies are the bonobos, gorillas, and arangatangs. However it's the males that do it because they want to be dominant not because they want to get each other off. I've never heard of any all male circle jerks in the jungle though. That would be a site to see. Well on the other hand...no it wouldn't.

I don't know where you can find it in books, we had a discussion about this in a Sociology class with my professor and she told us about a homosexual goose at the park near her home. The only other example I can think of is in Legally Blonde 2, Elle's dog Bruiser was gay

Animals don't have any school of moral information as you do. as well their prevalent instinct is to mate and habit that you call gay is an indiscriminate expression. do you opt for to act as a brute beast? Are you no better suited than an ape? unhappy for you! Edit : by skill of how, in case you quote the Bible as authoritative then you fairly completely condemn your self for no longer following it your self. you would no longer be able to work out that yet honestly each man or woman else can ! To paraphrase Shakespeare, "get rid of the HYPOCRITE, gents." you extremely are following the animals are not you?

dogs have a rectal gland developed by secreting fluids to account for scent on their faeces, blocked sometimes killing dogs or causing discomfort because it is poison caused by homosexuality in captivity or whatever, cats have a similar gland, no homosexuality and is used very often to mark people and trees, homosexuality is therefore genetically passed on to a dog but which dog is depressed enough i guess or in heat too much but learning or genetically is a hard battle to fight. the have been thought to mate anything by humans breeding them for generations so maybe their instincts have been mislaid for heat driven or need for the help of dog kind. you could only set them free to forget about it and concentrate on breeding the best for a pack.

Haven't you ever seen a male dog go after another male dog? I see it all the time. I don't know however rather I consider this Homosexuality. I think it is more an instinctual impulse.

Look in overcrowding/overpopulation of lab rats. The males start running in gangs and exhibit homosexual behavior.
