Iguanas require only about 25% protein in there diet, so the answer is no. They mostly eat veggies and fruits for ex. romaine, carrots squash, zuccini, strawberries, melons, bananas w/ skin. You can also go to the pet store and get a juvenile iggy food. They also require plenty of calcium in there diet, you can use yogurt, cottage cheese, or a calcium supplement. Also very important is natural sun light, iggies absorb vit. D for the sun. Make sure you have plenty of space, iguanas get quite large.
