Polos, argyle and things like that. I actually like the look. You can find a bunch of stuff like that at places like Aeropostale, Alloy, and Old Navy.

hey...preppy outfits for boys or for girls???
I have lots of experience on this, lol.
Girls:
Abercrombie, hollister, american eagle, J. Crew, Juicy couture, and Aeropostale clothing
Lace Camis, Henley style shirts, Polo shirt(usually aeropostale) super short jean miniskirts, leggings under mini skirt, Double cuffed jeans and sweatpants.
Hair usually in a messy bun, or ponytail. Hair tied with polka dot ribbon sometimes
On a guy:
polo ralph lauren, lacoste, SYMS, Armani, American Eagle, Abercrombie, Dockers
Button down shirts, or polos, with dockers or something like that. Also, plaid shorts, and big brown shoes...i forget what they are called i think clark wallabees.

Preppy for what? I think any time a girl wears a collar shirt with a sweater or sweater vest over, that is def. Preppy. Maybe combine witha skirt and cute shoes.

Preppy for a guy is khaki pants, button-down oxford shirt and navy blazer. Preppy for a gal is skirt, blazer, and oxford shirt. Both would wear penny loafers.

I think preppy looks fine, personally. Its a lot of polos and and kakhis or dark denim. HIgh pony tails, or hair down, and argyle. Its an okay look, not really my thing, but theres nothing majorly wrong with it.

it's looks like the gap or jcrew like the the other person said, its plain and kinda all american like, sweaters, shirts, slacks, loafers, ties, blazers. think prep school.

very clean, bright pastel colors. white shorts, leather sandals, and a polo (pink or bright blue or similar).
