no rabbits dont hibernate, they will build up there fat reserves the best they can if they sense a harsh winter coming, just incase they have dificulty in finding feed.

No they don't. My rabbits have always needed feeding in the winter time, even the wild one. Also, how would the other carnivores stay alive in the winter without food?
