when i sign in i can see me messeges that ive received when i was offline and today when i sighned in i saw someone sought me a message and i left to walk downstaires and now i cannot see them. is there anything that i can do to see that message that was sent to me while i was out

go to contacts then message archive...and youll find the messages that was sent to you....

It sounds like your current Instance of Yahoo! Messenger has become corrupt. One currupt file will create all type of lost features and wacky behaviors with the any program. The best thing to do is remove this Instance via the Add/Remove applet and then download and install a new Instance of Yahoo! Messenger from the downloads site. That really should fix this and allow you to view your messages again. I am not so sure you will be able to recover this lost message though, but keep your fingers crossed and see if it is there after you finish installing the new Instance.

Well if you went for a walk and you have no messages then nobody sent you messages. If you were talking about when you sign out it deletes all your offline messages when you close the offline messages window.

have you set your yahoo to ave messeges
right click the yahoo icon in the system tray click on perferences click on the , archive tab
tick the box ,enable Archiving .tick all the box there but remove the last box tick at the bottom then click on apply & ok , now
right click on one of your friends on your list and click on message Archiving , that is one way now the offline messeges .on your yahoo messenger click on ,tools/offline messeges . that is how you see the offline messeges . take care

click on your initiate button % on administration panel then click on upload and get rid of application. Scroll on each and each and each and all of the programms to locate yahoo messenger. click on it and there will be a removing or which includes message that that's recommended to % on. and that's it! stable success, costly.

try to reinstall the messenger .. you should see your offline messages normally
