Yes, you can make money using the internet and affiliate programs. However, it is not as easy as some would lead you to believe. It takes hours of work, and it may take months before you begin to generate revenue.

I run a gaming portal and am a member of over 140 affiliate programs. I've been in operation since June of 2005, and only recently began to see revenue... I've made a little over $4700 in the last seven months.

If you would like to read about my recommendations for the best online gaming affiliates, please read my article entitled "Seven Tips for Choosing an Online Gaming Affiliate Program"; the article contains my top 12 recommended gaming affiliate programs. http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/7OGAPtips.htm

Affiliate marketing is definately not a sham. It is a good way to make money if you can get it all figured out, and get a good system in order. Basically what you are doing is promoting other companies products, so you are going to have to spend some money to make money, because you need to advertise. If you have your own website that gets a good amount of traffic already then affiliating with a few companies can be extremely profitable for you. Check into these companies, they are all free to join: Clickbank, Commission Junction, and Modern Clicks.

Affiliate Marketing is very much legit. I have been using affiliate marketing for a little over a year now to earn an extra income. There is absolutely no turning back for me now.

I have created a website which shares some valuable lessons that I have learnt from my experience with affiliate marketing.

You can check it out here

Its legit, but you should never have to pay anything to sign up for it. You may have to agree to put a link to the product from your web site in order to affiliate. The bottom line is that it is selling. If that is your profession, it is a good way to make extra money, especially if you have your own web site already. You earn money from everyone that buys the product from the link on your site. Also some of the companies provide you an already made site with their product and your own companies name. (DirecTV is a good example, and you make 50 bucks every time you get someone to get a Directv satellite. You just sign up for free, then name your business and you get directed to your own site. That is the best affiliate program I have seen.)

Have you ever thought why would any site pay you for nothing ????? Well i don't know about any site askin you to just refer people not lettin you know their sources of income and makin you hit piller and post but I know that This Internet site pay you cause their clients like yahoo, monster.com and globe 7 pay them for generating sales leads for them :-) when people sign up thru the threads which you spread over chat rooms like yahoo, msn or whatever or forums like orkut and yahoo answers, clients earn money or prospects to earn in future. Then they pay moneycosmos for those sales or future sales and moneycosmos then pay you some of it as your commission . it's like no other bogus or junk system of just refferin others and not knowin where would the money come from ?
so if you wanna try somethin genuine now try http://www.moneycosmos.com/?r=225024

$0.01 per search as well as 50% commission on whatever your referals earn, with a maximum search limit of 200 searches a day. So if each referral maxed their paid searches out per day and you had only 50 referrals, you would earn $3000.00 per month.

If you have a website, it's a good way to monetize your site.
You simply put ads on your site, at no cost to you, and if your visitors click on the ads and buy something, you make a commission. The key is traffic. You have to have thousands of hits a day for the deal to work out.

it depends on what program you are talking about.

There are legit ones but also more then a few schams.

Though truth betold odds are you wont make as much money as most of the programs hype says you will.
