I have to write a story in my AP Language Arts class. It's a topic of our choose and I wanted to do something with kayaking up in Oregon, Washington, Southern Alaska, and southern Canada. I found the Saskatchewan River but I want to know how cold it is.

Try either the Rogue or McKenzie rivers. Both are very cold at the headwaters. The "Wild and scenic" rogue would be a great topic for the paper, and it is often used for kayaking and river rafting.
