Alas, spell check wouldn't have helped this young lady, as I'm sure it would have assumed she was simply putting together a collage.

Also, sadly, this is not the first time I've seen this word misspelled on this site. Each time it's been in the context of someone purporting to be in college themselves.

I suppose that is a little bit humorous, but there are those of us who simply can't spell. I hold a graduate degree, and if weren't for spell check I'd never have gotten through. What's sad is that spell check is available for everything this site offers and people won't take the time to use it.

It's called "social promotion," which is basically getting promoted to the next grade because you failed so much that you're in class with people four to five younger than you are(even though you didn't really pass the class).

Yes, and it also disturbs me how many people can't spell the word 'pregnant'...it's not really that hard, is it? Especially when there is a spell checker there!
