I want to know if the only reason why you married your wife is because she babies you like your mother?
I already asked this and no one answers it...

Truthfully I think that may of happened in my second marriage.I see a lot of guys that marry a girl and when you sit back and look at the family as a whole .The wives do favor there mother so I believe your answer is yes

First off, Paul, the guy who flipped it on you was very legitimate. Your response was not logical at all. Generalization is so illogical.
Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder.

I could ask, why do women marry rich men even if those men are ugly. Is it because women are shallow and only care about material items?
See what I mean. It is insulting to a majority of men, like Paul and that is why he responded in that way. But you have to expect any type of answer when you ask on this type of forum...and take it.

For me Im really glad my wife isnt like my Mom, not that there isnt anything wrong with my Mother but my wife is so much better and walks beside me thru our marriage. But I will agree with you to a certain point that there are both "mommas boys" and "daddys little girls" out there. You see alot of them right here on Q&A. Its usually that either partner is a little insecure with themselves and therefor look for somone like their parent to offer the security they had growing up. Chances are if you marry someone thats never been away from home or move in next door to their parents, youve found one. But theyre actually a minority of married couples but there still is alot out there. Kids that grow up with a sheltered life usually turn out to be like that. But then if we didnt have those kinds, we wouldnt have real men and women. Good luck if you have one

hey there,i think you sound quite aggressive...no wonder you didnt get many answers,lol...the guys are probably scared... im also wondering more why you seem so angry and bitter towards men? even if you have had bad experiences yourself or are in a relationship or have been where you felt like your man just wanted a mum and then bailed on you or whatever...it hurts but not all men are the same...i havent met my 'soulmate yet' even though i thought i had a couple of times but i know there are nice guys as well as crapsters so dont judge all men the same and try to feel better,youre only hurting yourself by thinking this way ;0)

I got married because my wife at that time wanted children and wouldn't have children without being married. I spoiled my ex. It was complete opposite. i can cook, clean, and take care of the children. God I was good.
Serious no she really didn't baby me like my mother. My mother never babied me anyway.

Married her because I fell in love with her..she dont baby me, she tends to my needs, as I do hers..My Mother didnt baby me..she did all the things a mother does, and God rest her soul, I am better for it...but, I dont require babying, just help with any problem I might encounter that we can come up with a solution..And I do speak up when the occasion calls for it...

no i baby my wife we knew for 15 years before we were married .before i was married (been married 10 yrs) i dated ALOT na di just came to the conclusion that she was the one i wanted to spend the rest of my life together. we still text each other and tell each other we love each other

It follows the same logic as why did you marry your husband cause he reminded you of your father?

Not me!
I am getting married in march and my fiancee does not baby me at all like my mom. She treats me sometimes and spoils me a little but that goes both ways and she doesnt do things for me that I can easily do myself.

I think it's true that some men look for "motherly" qualities in a woman. What's your point though? Doesn't everyone have a right to marry anyone they please? Unless they're gay of course, then they don't have a right; yet.
