Karr child porn charges dismissed By KIM CURTIS, Associated Press Writer

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - A judge dismissed child pornography charges Thursday against former JonBenet Ramsey murder suspect John Mark Karr after prosecutors said they didn't have enough evidence to take the case to trial.

Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Rene Chouteau ordered Karr released immediately, bringing an end to his two-month odyssey in the U.S. criminal justice system after he was extradited from Thailand on suspicion of killing the 6-year-old beauty queen.

Karr, 41, was returned to California last month to face the five-year-old pornography case after DNA evidence cleared him of killing the girl in her Boulder, Colo., home in 1996.

The misdemeanor pornography case fell through when it was discovered the police couldn't prove Karr put the pictures on the computer.

I think that he should go to jail but he is obviously mentally disturbed so I think he should at least be put in a mental asylum.

He already did walk free. But I imagine it is only a matter of time before he does it again and ends up back in jail. I think he'll find he made a gross error in judgment by claiming to have killed Jon Benet. Now everybody knows who he is. If he crosses the line someone is sure to turn him in.

Oh hello Erudite some one was asking about you ???

Anyways I really dont think he should be set free, but the charges seemed solid till he got back here dont you think...............the thing that worries me the most is it first came out that he ADMITTED his allege crime due to the fact he was in trouble with the Thai government over similar charges.hmmmmmm lets see Thai Jail...............USA jail...trust me i KNOW which one I would pick.................so IF those charges are true from Thailand can we NOT send him back there to face those charges...heck I am sure enough people would kick in for his fare..........but he sure as sh*t wont be flying 1st class this time.

He'll never be free. He might avoid the slammer, but he has big problems that he'll drag along with him until he does something that will put him away from society.
