So I'm a libra and for years now, I've been attracted to and dated capricorns. Do air and fire really work?? Am I just an anomoly of the zodiac? because I know that for the most part, the most compatable matches are those within your element. I've also read that capricorns are supposed to be a challenge for libras to be in a relationship with...do I just like a challenge? Or do you think that the 'compatability matches' are just totall Bull$hit?

Many people look at their horoscopes as a serious or at least considerable way to determine their course of action and to figure out what will become of them. The truth is though that the Sun Signs indicated by the zodiac are completely irrelevant to the person they are assigned to, or how their individual mind works. The characteristics attributed to each of the Sun Signs are general human traits nothing more. Many people identify with them because they're looking for something more. Seek and you shall find. The similarities between the personality traits of the individual Sun signs are far greater than the differences. They are deliberately depicted differently for the sake of the gullible. The compatibility matches are bullshit just like the Zodiac and your horoscope are. Don't worry about it, most people find the clash because they have bought into it so far that unless they are actually serious about what they are doing, be it relationships, friendships, activities, etcetera, their mind locks back into that state of thinking 'we won't be compatible'. The Zodiac is perhaps one the most basic and crudest forms of suggestible advertising, and unfortunately it also one of the most enduring and effective forms as well.

Actually I am born on 23rd of December at 2351 hours in Stockholm Sweden and I am a Capricorn myself(4th house). My Mercury, Uranus and Neptune signs are also Capricorn and all in the 4th house.
Though Capricorn may really be a challenge to Libra, one has to be reminded that love can exist in all conditions and has no limits or boundaries. A loving couple can go through thick and thin. It is really sad that many couples are unhappy not because they are not compatible but because they THINK they are not compatible. :-(

I have found that it is easier to stick with your own element. Capricorn is an earth sign. You are an air sign. Easier matches might be found in another Libras, a Gemini, or, an Aquarius. However, sometimes if you have other complementary signs in your chart such as compatatible signs in the moon, venus, mars, ect... It could work. The only way to find out is to have a compatability chart done.

compatability matches are not complete bull, there is some truth to them. however, what you are looking at is just your sun sign's and they do form a negative aspect called a square ... by aspect. they write those kind of compatability reports for the masses, the masses do not know their other planetary signs usualy. venus, mars, and mercury can play a very important part in a relationship.

Most likely its because you probably like a challenge. Believe me...I dated a Cap for five years...toughest guy in the world!!! They are soo hard to understand and so jealous!! I know as a Libra you are a nice person...so you probably go for that moody/standoffish type guy--the one who is "opposite" to your personality (because Libras are generally outgoing, talkative, etc....while Caps are generally quiet, moody, and shy).
It's probably just that you are attracted to that type of guy---it may work out with one eventually---but it will be a tough relationship that requires lots of work
