can i still recieve social security disability if i live in canada and remain a united states citizen?

There are reciprocal agreements on pensions between Canada and the U.S and Canada allows citizens to have dual citizenship

Check with your SS Office, but I believe you can. I'm on disability, too, and have thought of moving to Canada. But, as a US citizen, I think you still get the SSD.

Actually I think you can. My dad lives here in the states (was born in England) and he still gets his pension from england. And yes you can have duel citizenship.

Matt is quite wrong. You are still a US citizen until you legally denounce your citizenship.

As for SS...I don't know. I would think so.
