1:
2 quarts of something is the same as 4 pints.
4 pints is the same as 8 cups.
8 cups is the same as 64 ounces.
So, 64oz / 6oz = 10.6666 (glasses filled)

2:
1 gallon is the same as 4 quarts.
When you buy the quart cans, for 1/4 of a gallon, you pay $5
Now, to see what that would be is gallons, times it by 4 and it would be $20.
So, since gallon buckets are $13, you save $7 per gallon

1. There are 32 oz per qt. 2qts=64oz. Divide 64 by 6. Now the question asks "how many glasses can be COMPLETELY FILLED. 6 goes evenly into 64 10 times with a remainder. So the answer is 10 glasses.

2 There are 4qts in an American gallon. So 4qts costs $13. If you buy the quarts separately, they cost $5 a piece. To buy a gallon's worth this way would be 4 times 5=$20. Then you subtract $13 from $20 and you get $7. The answer is that you save $7/gal by buying the larger cans.

I think you can do the rest!!

1. There are 32 oz in a quart so two quarts give you 64 oz. So 10 6 oz glasses will be completely filled with 4 oz left.

2. There are 4 quarts in a gallon, so 4 1-quart cans would cost $20, so you would save $7 by buying the 1-gallon can ($20-$13=$7)
