I'd like to visit Beirut, perhaps the week between Christmas and New Years, or really any time. I'm looking to find a way to travel for free, for someone to pay me to go there.

I'm a teacher and photographer, as well as being trained in writing English. I've also worked in security and transportation. I am willing to do about anything to not pay $1400 for a ticket to Damascus. Any suggestions?

(IF YOU DON'T KNOW, AND ARE ONE OF THESE PEOPLE THAT JUST RESPOND TO SEVERAL ADS WITH THINGS LIKE 'I DON'T KNOW, BUT...' THEN SKIP TO THE NEXT QUESTION. I ONLY WANT ANSWERS FROM PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!)

FREE!!!

Go to the south Boston mosque and tell them that you want to go to Lebanon and learn about the country and that you want to take photos and work on a story of the people of Lebanon and the injustice done to them.
They have a program to send people who want to contribute or do research.
I forgot the contact's name in the Boston mosque but they will know where to direct your request.
Contact: Roxbury Masjid - 617-442-2805
You may also want to volunteer in one of the refugee camps as an English teacher, so they can justify your trip.
I hope this will help you.

first of all, your question is missing something, you did not mention which country r u in and why will you go to Damascus?! you can go directly to Beirut via the airport ,or by ship or by bus or car,why would any one bring you on his own expense to Beirut?what is so special about you?(no offense)
i wish you would some day come to Lebanon and visit Beirut,it is a great place to be in,despite the recent events
best wishes
