ok I had this difficulty with my 1996 ford ranger and characteristic appeared and positioned 25 diverse solutions as to what the mission will be. My ranger has a 4 cylinder motor 5 % tranny. All of my lights worked parking lights, tail lights, operating lights etc.. in spite of the indisputable fact that in this cas neither turning alerts or hazzards worked. So first of direction verify FUSES (#21) & (#22) are the blinkers and hazzards. only because there no longer blown doesn t recommend there s no longer a mission there take a try meter and be conscious if potential is getting to the fuses. If no longer the next move is going to be to take the panel under the steerage wheel off it once the plastic panel is off then you definitely could take off the metallic panel the lies below the plastic panel once all it really is carried out you want to look below there like liteatorly get your head up below the sprint with a flash effortless and stumble on the (turn signal RELAY) it really is going to ethier be (BLUE & sq.) or (SILVER & round) if this relay isn t clicking it s no longer taking off an closeting different words no longer operating it s 5 money at your interior of sight elements keep and not in any respect a large deal to modify only unsnapping a clip and snapping contained in the recent one. in case you do this and not in any respect some thing alterations is the (MULITI function swap) it truly is what controls your wipers brights etc.. If none of those are operating it s probable the swap and not in any respect the relay which inserts from being a 5 dollar relay to a ninety dollar swap. And the elimination of the proper of the steerage wheel column to interchange and connect. And once you've the truck stressed for a trailer plug I highly recommend if not one of the above works replace the plug and run new cord to the recent plug better then probable it s shorting and causing the truck to short the hazzards, blinkers or both. wish this helped good success

The turn signals are on a different fuse than the hazzards. Fuses are the cheapest thing to try first. The fuse is probably blown.

Follow the wire back to the hazzards, there should be a seperate flasher unit next to it, replace the flasher unit and it should be ok.
