I was thinking on what I wanted to be after I graduated, since I only have this year to really think about it and I have desided I wanted to go for Equine Management or Horse Management. But I dont know of any good colleges to go to. I was thinking of U of I since it has a good vet program and it's closer to home but I'm not sure that it would have a good horse program...What do you guys suggest???

Texas A&M probably has the best Vet Program in the country, but its hard to get into. Tarlton University, which is an extention of A&M and located in Stephenville, TX, has serveral good programs. You could get a degree in Animal Sciences, Wildlife Management, Animal Husbandry, or Pre-Vet. It would be easier to get into A&M, you would just put it a transfer.

Go to www.colleges.com. You can narrow your college search by major, location, tuition, etc.

I also hear that the University of California, Davis has an EXCELLENT veterinarian school. Many veterinarians down here in southern California are graduates of UC Davis.
