no I don't, because he is not from this planet and he scares me.

You know what? I can remember when my friend Nicole and I used to spend our whole friday watching Cocktail, Top Gun and Days of Thunder. We were eleven years old and we were so enamoured by this guy, that we would compare grade 5 boys to Tom Cruise. I was so 'in love' with him that his poster and pictures and whatever other 'Tom Stuff' I could find totally took over my bedroom. That was back then however. Now although he is still attractive at 42, his 'Sexiness' is gone. He no longer is an icon for children or men or a sex symbol for the ladies.

Tom Cruise is a man who has let his celebrity go to his head. If you are a Scientologist and it works for you great Tommy, but do not get so full of yourself that you dismiss the use of antidepressants for those of us that use them. Having suffered through depression most of my life I think I may be more qualified to determine what is useless and what is not Mr Cruise. Oh and FYI L.Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer that should tell you all you need to know about this cult.

Aloha from Down Unda!
I do love Tom, just like warts, pain, agony & hurt. It's so good when it's gone & renders a frame of reference to appreciate real life. One good reason is his failure to honor his wedding vows. Once commitments are made, in my opinion, respect is lost automatically with the failure. The personality displayed is, at best, 'wishy-washy' & repulsive. It's an automatic gag reflex to recognize the embarrassment of his antics. Peter Pan is more mature. I consider mental retardation commensurate with stunted growth hormones. Probably there's a defective gene. But my view is that I'm blessed with an awareness & enlightened with a joy which doesn't require egotistical displays of emotions in movies, red carpets & Orca's TV 'SHOW'!

No not at all! He is not that great looking, he is short for a man. Oh and did I fail to mention that he dumped a very beautiful woman Named Nicole Kidman, that really made him ugly to me. He also made himself look stupid by jumping on Opera's sofa. Nope I dont like him at all now that I think about it. He also robbed the cradle.... He has an ugly mouth to, I dont like the shape of it. Well I guess I could go on. I bet Nicole likes him better now, more than ever beings she got dumped by him and was put on the market... Wow look what she has now... Keith Urban, he is way better looking than Tom! I wonder if she sent Tom-Cat a thank you note? I sure would have... ; )

I can't say I LOVE Cruise, but I kind of like him as an actor. As a person, well, I don't want to judge, but he needs to be careful when he speaks. Many careers have been ruined by personal opinions.

May I ask you a question? Why is it that you use the word love here. He is a celebrity not someone in your family. not a friend, nothing to you at all.
He is a good actor, yes, but no I do not love the man. He is nothing to me but someone I pay money to see entertain me. If he is not here tomorrow, there will be another who will be the one I spend money on to be entertained. His personal life and his life period are of no interest to me.
You would do well to spend more time on the stuff and people who really deserve the love you have to give.

Not really. I mean he is a great actor, but i truly think his stardom has went straight to his head. I think in the past few years (maybe 5) he has started to slip- even in that. War of the Worlds was fine- but NOTHING like Mission Impossible. Maybe its Katie... Maybe its that crazy Scientology crap he preaches. His daughter is beautiful though! I dont know- all I can say is that his earlier works were better than what he has done lately and i think through some pretty wierd decisions he is basically cutting his own throat ....

I don't "love" any celebrity....I don't know them.
I really don't like Tom Cruise because if 1/2 the things that are said about him are true.....he's an idiot.
Just my opinion.

No. I've made it a habit to never love someone who's in love with themselves. And the Scientology thing....cults are spooky!
