I've heard about this one foundation make up that is called bare minerals or something like that. Anyone ever used it ? I think it's just a powder foundation, it's supposed to be covering, but not feel as masky as liquid. Anyone know what it costs? Does it really work good?

Are you in the market for a new foundation? If so you need to think about a few things:
What is my skin like (oily, dry, clear, break-outs, and such)?
What kind of coverage do I want (light, medium, full)?
What kind of look am I going for (natural, dewy, matte)?
This is what will help you find what you want.
With that said I am a Bare Minerals. I have very oily skin, a few blemishes every so often, but other than that my skin is fairly clear. Depending on how my skin is looking I want light to medium coverage. I like a natural and dewy look.
I feel Bare Minerals is by far my favorite, and let me tell you I have tried many different foundations:Clinique, Lancome, Estee Lauder, MAC, Bobbie Brown. Basically I've had problems with all of them except for BareMinerals.
But why do I like BareMinerals:
It looks natural.
It stays on all day even in extreme heat.
It is easy to find your color match.
It feels good on my skin. When I touch my skin it feels like my skin, not make-up on top of skin.
And as the day goes on it looks even better.
I use it and love it, and my sister and mother use it and love it.
It can be expensive but check these sites out.

I am a very happy Bare Minerals user! It is a line of powder makeup with an SPF of 15. It gives wonderful, even coverage, and is easy and fun to apply. It gives you a covered but totally natural look, without looking and feeling like you're wearing makeup. There is a starter kit with everything you need including brushes, foundation powder, bronzer, and loose powder that is available from Sephora or Ulta for $60. It's quite a good deal, and I can't recommend the product highly enough!

Bare Minerals truly does everything the infomercial says that it does. It is a little expensive, but it does last quite a while. I love it and will never use anything else. The only thing that I hate about it is that I did not find out about it sooner. It costs $35.00, but that includes the brush. They are always running some special for people just trying it out for the first time-make up kits with a few of the products for a good price.

I use Jane Iredale Powder Foundation. It has great coverage, without caking. I have acne, but when I wear this makeup, people ask me what I'm using and where they can get it! It doesn't come in a kit, so all you pay for is the foundation you want. I pay about $35 at my esthetician's. It's known as "the skincare makeup". It's recommended by dermatologists and plastic surgeons for sensitive skin and after chemical or laser peels. It has anti-inflammatory ingredients, and it contains up to SPF 20. It's also all natural and never tested on animals. I could go on and on about the virtues of Jane Iredale Makeup! I just love it. I suggest you check out the websites of both brands before deciding.

The best foundation I used was Lancome and it is expensive but it depends how much money you saved up from working.
I never tried bare minerals before but I prefer department store makeup foundation.

Yes, this foundation works great. I know it is more expensive then most foundations, but if you go to QVC.com they sometimes have it for cheaper. But yes, I have used this for awhile now and it is wonderful. It makes your face feel fresh and not all masky. Hope I helped!

i use it. the price varies, but for a full kit it can cost about 40 - 60 dollars. right now i'm useing there special which cost about 2 credit card payments of 30 dollars. the foundation is pretty smooth. the kit comes with concealer, warmth( helps your skin glow) and about 3 different brushes. the look it gives you is unbelieveable. it looks so natural like you were born with perfect skin.
