Honesty is always the best policy and maybe instead of saying shut the bleep up...you should just explain to her that her constant talking is really distracting and ask her if she could tone it down bit. If you have already tried this or this does not work your best move should be to talk to your supervisor about it. Good Luck!

Wear headphones. Often times bosses are aware of yappers too, so they might not have a problem with you wearing headphones to avoid the yapper. You don't even need to have music playing just make sure the yapper thinks you do.

Okay, she's being just plain rude and inconsiderate so just ignore the shithead! I abhor people like that. I'm female but I'm no motor mouth and I can't stand idle chat!

Just completely ignore her. When she is talking to you, don't even acknowledge she is there. Don't nod your head or anything. Surely she'll get the picture, if not, then she is the one with the problem, not you!

Ask your supervisor for a cube or office far away from hers.

If you have said something to her already and she continues, the gloves are off. You can tell her point blank, "I'm tired, and I don't have time to listen to you."

LMAO! I dunno, try singing a song in your mind to drown her out! Or if you can, involve another co-worker. Or say that another co-worker really likes her and wants to be her friend!
